My name is Thomas fletcher and I have written to you so find out weather there are any available photography placements at Lucasfilm Headquarters. And before I start I just wanted to say thank you for how much your company and studio has helped me and made me a better me as a person so thank you . But at the moment I am currently studying at the College of West Anglia King Lynn doing my third year of college I have completed level 2 media and I am now in my third year of college studying level three second year.
As I said i am studying media level 3 in second year where I am homing my skills for video editing and photography and I believe that these skills could be useful to you. In lucasiflm I know that you have a lot of work weather it is in animation for the Clone wars / Resistance or weather it would be live action for the next instalment for the Star Wars saga or for the Mandalorian. I am sure a lot o f work goes on back stage where I am sure I could be of use weather it would be as a video editor or as a photographer because no matter what the project Is there is a need for advertisement which a photographer comes into its element. As well as I am sure that a video editor is useful due to how much work goes into each project that you produce.
I have lots of experience doing photography and video editing because I have done three years of brief based projects as well as I have done several pieces of work experience for other people to help develop my skills. I have done some diorama toy photography wild life and landscape photography for projects and for clients. As well as I have done a lot of video editing over the last three years so I have a large amount of knowledge in this topic which I believe could benefit you.

Alice - The editing went really well and i like the way the audio crosses over between visual shots but it could be improved by re shooting some scenes with nate where he messes up and the edits seem messy.

There are a lot of pros and cons in social media in a work place because social media could either male or break your company because it could help your staff relate o each other and work better together . On the other hand it could ruin people life there moral and there workplace. Such as Nintendo believe that social media is good and I personally believe that social media for gaming companies is a necessity because it is a perfect way to build hype around a product connect with there fan base and make a lot of money due to teaser announcements or brand deals / crossovers. There is also a lot of risk with there use of social media because it could cause controversy on there products they release including there prices and how good the content they release. As well as social media Is a very judge places and for bigger companies the could cause issues such as when Nintendo was fighting back a social media influencers and content creators for featuring there games on there youtube and twitch channels saying that they should not profit of these games because they are not the creators of the game causing controversy and back lash to the company.As well as the time that Nintendo tried to have "Super Mario 64" as it was known was attempted to be removed from the internet by Nintendo by copyright claiming and removing ad revenue of of videos and streams , due to the fact that is was a very popular modification of the original 1996 game.In conclusion my verdict is that social media can do a lot of wrong form a personal standpoint and form a business stand point but the main issues with Nintendo are company rather than marketing . But regardless of that social media could do a lot of good from a company perspective due to the amount of money available to make.

My name is Thomas Fletcher and i am an 19 year old aspiring photographer and graphical designer who wants to show of my skills and I know where ever I end I up I know I would make a difference also I have experienced in working with different forms of camera such as DSLRs and works best when given a brief or and idea / concept to work with so I can best meet the desires of the client.
My main skills is my creativity i can always find a way to make my pieces bolder and exiting to look at and to keep the audience engaged which is important because it makes the audience recognise you especially if you have your own style which is hard to develop but I am working on that. I believe that I could bring my skills and technique to any piece of photography that I take or am given.
My skills includes photography (I am familiar with the equipment and have a working understanding of photography) graphics and video based editing all of which i have studied and put my skill in to practice over the course of three years and through 3 years of work experience in several places. And i have used all of this to complete brief based projects over the three years with a aviary of projects from documentary to radio drama to diorama photography.
I am currently looking for work as a free lance photographer doing landscape and advertisement or if the opportunity came up I would appeal for a video and graphics editor position if the opportunity presented itself but ideally as a photographer. Also an important factor that I believe that I should mention is that my part time work at a cinema is an invaluable skill meaning that I am capable to deal with customers and in large quantities at a time which makes me good with clients and customers.
The experiences that I have been apart of are that I have done some photography documenting for the Hawk and owl trust as well as a small amount of wildlife photography on the side. Also I have done some work with Springboard TV helping out on camera with live streams and advert making for them to use in there intermission breaks which I am proud off doing.

Question : What past experiences that you have had that could help you with this position.
Answer : I have had many chances for experience opportunities over the last 3 years whilst I have been at the college of west anglia kings Lynn.I have done work for there on site production team Springboard TV where I would get given tasks to help improve the live streams they produce weakly or they would be advertisement pieces. Such as in my first I made an advert about a product that we got to think up then plan and produce it in which I was lead planner and editor the piece then later went on to be used as in there intermission breaks during live streams.
Question : what was your role during that project
Answer : When I was doing this as the main planner so I had to find the location in the end we used the sports centre in kings Lynn as well as I filled out all of the planning documents which was good because it helped me build a working understanding of them which is good.As well as I was the main editor so I went through the clips and looked at all of the effects and takes we did then matched them together so that we came out with a. project the we were all happy with.
Question : how has that helped you
Answer : It helped me massively being at the college of west anglia I learnt on how to make and fill out production documents which is a good skill and a transferable skill which is very god for where very I go or end up as well as the editing skill has helped me because it taught me how to use colour grading and correction because I was inexperienced with camera at the time so the edit was important but I still believed that I pulled it off.
